Sight Words Practice is made for children to use. There are no accounts, and we never ask you for a name, email, or other personal details. Here is exactly how information is handled:

• Your settings and saved builds are stored only in your own browser, on your device. The one exception is printing: when you generate a worksheet, the sheet settings you chose are sent to our server so it can build the PDF, and any custom words you added are included because they have to be printed on the page. We use them to make the file and do not store them.
• We use one analytics service, Fathom Analytics. It counts page visits without cookies and without tracking individual people, and it does not store IP addresses alongside what was visited. There are no cookies anywhere on this site, so there is nothing to accept or dismiss. You can switch analytics off for your browser from the Model Teaching Apps Privacy Notice.
• Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics were both removed from every Model Teaching app on September 8, 2026.
• Word audio for our own word lists plays from sound files served by this app. For a word a teacher types in, the app asks your own device to say it out loud, using a voice already installed on the device. If the device has no offline voice available, the app will not speak the word rather than send what you typed to an outside service.

Children's privacy. This app is made for children, so it is built to collect as little as possible from them. There are no accounts, no cookies, and nothing a child types is sent to us or stored by us. Parents, teachers and schools can read the full detail, including what our hosting and analytics providers receive and how long they keep it, in the Model Teaching Apps Privacy Notice, which also lists how to contact us.

You can erase everything this app has saved in your browser from its Settings page, or erase every Model Teaching app at once from the notice linked above.
