These terms cover your use of the Model Teaching apps at apps.modelteaching.com. By using any of our apps, you agree to them. For how we handle information, see our Privacy Notice.
The apps are free, and provided as they are
Every app on this site is free to use. We provide them as they are, without any promise that they will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We may add, change, or remove features, or take an app down, at any time.
Who these apps are for
Our practice apps are built for students to use alongside a teacher or a parent. We also publish one lesson-planning tool built for teachers only. Nothing on this site is meant to replace instruction from a teacher or a parent, and nothing here is meant for a young child to use unsupervised.
Using the apps responsibly
Please use these apps the way they are meant to be used: for practice, study, and lesson planning. Do not try to disrupt the service, gain access to parts of it you are not meant to reach, or use it to collect information about other people. Do not use the apps for anything unlawful.
We claim no rights over student data
We do not claim any rights over any student’s work, answers, or information. Our apps are not intended to receive personal information about students, and none of our practice apps ask a student for any.
If you are a teacher or a parent, please do not type a student’s name or any other personal information into any field in these apps, including worksheet titles, lesson-plan fields, or the feedback form.
No warranty
We provide these apps “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the apps will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Model Teaching and Action Potential Learning, LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of these apps. Nothing in these terms limits liability in ways the law does not allow.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Action Potential Learning, LLC operates from Texas. These terms are a draft and are subject to review by counsel before they are relied on.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.
