About Math CFU Lesson Builder

Math CFU Lesson Builder is a free tool from Model Teaching that executes the Strategies to Check for Understanding professional development course for K-12 math. It is not a general-purpose lesson planner — it applies the course's own decision rules to recommend Check-for-Understanding strategies, generates the questions, answer keys, and re-teach plans for each one, and exports a completed lesson plan you can teach from.

v1 targets K-12 math under Common Core (CCSS) and Texas (TEKS) standards; grade coverage is rolling out incrementally. Every generated math item is independently verified before it reaches you — no answer key ships unchecked.
