Privacy

Phase 1 (today): no accounts, no server-side storage of your work. The standards you pick, the plans you build, and your preferences live in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data clears the app's data.

When you generate lesson content, the standard, objective, and class-context settings you entered are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the questions, answer keys, and plan text. That's it — no student data, rosters, names, or scores are ever collected or sent anywhere. This app plans lessons; it does not hold any information about your students.

Analytics use three tools. Fathom (privacy-focused, no cookies, no personal identifiers) and Vercel Web Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking) both count pageviews only. Google Analytics 4 sets one first-party analytics cookie to measure pageviews and feature use; advertising and Google Signals are off and IP addresses are anonymized, so there are no advertising cookies. All three report aggregate usage only, and none of them receives anything you type into the app.

Phase 2 (later): when accounts launch, we'll publish a full privacy policy and terms of service before any user data leaves your browser for anything beyond generation requests.
